My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary this weekend. It was as amazing as I could have hoped. We stayed up late, shared the gifts we had gotten for one another, then we shared some ummmm….yeah….moving on. Slept in a little bit, made breakfast together. After breakfast we got ready and went…

Goodbye, work.
Just put my “two weeks” in. Which really isn’t two weeks. I told them three to four. Now I need to figure out what the f I’m going to do.

I copied and pasted 15 job postings from the following states into a word doc so I could send out some resumes this week: Vermont, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Colorado, Wyoming, Missouri, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Nebraska, and New York.
Hmm.

i had a lot of fun this weekend with my sister attempting to scrapbook our weddings. now i am online looking for more scrapbooking tools and another album because mine won’t be big enough.
i think i’m addicted.
I am counting the minutes until we can scrapbook again.

woke up late. no time for yoga. a bad way to start a long weekend away from home.
Let’s do yoga tomorrow morning before scrapbooking. Or tonight after the movie. Or both.
Just got back from the gym… treadmill for 30 minutes, 350 calories burned, 3 miles. did some arms, sides, and abs.
Now I’m drinking a protein shake and some scrambled egg whites.
And watching Project Runway!

treadmill for 25 minutes, arms, abs, arms, abs, and treadmill again for a quarter of a mile.
not a great day, but i wasn’t planning on going at all and was bored so i went in.
Yesteday’s workout:
5 minutes on treadmill, half a mile. Arms. 30 minutes on elliptical, 360 calories, 3.1 miles. Squats/lunges w/ resistance bands (hell on earth). Abs.

My whole body is so sore from stability ball class on Monday… I don’t know what my problem is! I feel like I’m...
Yesterday
Did some arm workouts, went to stability ball class, and then ran a half-mile in 5 minutes; burned 70 calories.

Also ate a ton of sushi last night…
I don’t really believe in New Years resolutions, but I am going to try really hard to start eating better. I know I’m not going to be perfect and I’m still going to eat...

This is bad news to be at my desk. I literally pick at it every 30 seconds.
Workout
30 minutes on the elliptical - 350 calories burned, 3 miles
3 arm exercises on a bench, 3 other arm exercises while standing on a bosu ball.
90 lunges w/ resistance band on each leg, 90 squats with resistance band
100 knee pulls with stability ball
1 minute of bridge on stability ball, then 30 seconds on each leg alone
2 minutes of side plank w/ ball on each side, 4 minutes total

Today was to be my first day of serious gym-time.
Marci called at 4:39 (five minutes earlier than she normally calls… I knew something was up) and she wasn’t feeling well. So I go back to sleep. No gym for me today.

making grilled avocado, tomato and provolone (with turkey for the husband) sammiches for lunch in the toaster oven. wouldn’t have been able to do it without the wedding gift of the toaster oven. quite possibly one of my favorite kitchen appliances.

I hate the gym.
So I’m feeling like I put on a lot of the weight I lost before the wedding… I was almost down two pant sizes from what I was earlier this year… now I’m back to having only lost one. Bummer.
Marci and I have been some serious slackers at the gym lately. We went from running a mile, going on the elyptical for an hour, and then doing some lifting, to going on the elyptical...
What do I get my husband for Christmas???
